Come for a visit

We’re always interested in welcoming visitors to Belmont Castle. We know that seeing our magnificent grounds and getting to hear about our approach at first hand will help you greatly with the decision-making process. We’d be delighted to meet you and demonstrate all we have to offer as well as discuss the specially tailored packages and room designs we have.

If you call in advance, we’ll ensure you’re given a full tour of the Castle and will have time to explore our extensive grounds.

Admission procedure

Anyone over the age of 60 may apply to stay at Belmont Castle, subject to a full assessment of social and medical factors. Lack of financial means does not affect eligibility for admission.

If you have the means to pay the full costs, the weekly charge will vary depending on the facilities in the room available to you. If you require funding to meet your costs, this will be arranged via your Care Manager following a financial assessment.

Referrals can be made via:

  • The prospective resident
  • Family
  • Friends
  • A Care Manager
  • An Advocate/ Representative
  • Solicitor
  • General Practitioner
  • District Nurse

Contact in the first instance should be made to our Unit Manager, who will be happy to discuss any questions you may have regarding a referral. You’re under no obligation to proceed with an application.
